Pam began her career at a small regional firm in Kansas that allowed her to gain in-depth experience in tax, auditing, and financial statement preparation. The clients covered a broad range with a large concentration in healthcare entities, manufacturing, construction, and farming industries located in the Midwest. Many projects were aligned with helping clients implement and maintain accounting systems unique to their industry.
Pam left the public accounting field to be the chief financial officer of a hospital seeking financial improvement to obtain financing for a $26.5 million replacement facility. Struggling through process improvement, and change in entity alignment to build alliances for improved market share the goal was finally achieved. She went on to be the chief accountant for Two Rivers Farm Cooperative and implemented an automated and integrated accounting system for a multi-state cooperative that serves the largest wheat-producing counties in the world. She enjoyed staying home with her daughter but stayed active in the accounting field while teaching financial accounting classes as an adjunct professor and assisted banks with regulatory financial statement reviews for large loans. Returning to the public accounting industry she now assists clients in a variety of industries with tax and accounting issues.
Pam is a Tennessee Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She enjoys serving her faith community in various roles and is becoming more active in social justice issues.
