Connie joined a local Nashville practice in 1987 and for 12 years serviced clients primarily through tax, retirement plan management, and bankruptcy law covering various industries including banking, entertainment and not for profits.

Connie left public accounting in 1999 to join Mike at Healthcare Realty Trust, a real estate investment trust (REIT).  She started as a senior in corporate tax and ultimately became the VP of Tax before her departure in 2023 after a tenure of 24 years.

Connie is a Tennessee Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. Connie graduated from Tennessee Technological University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and has maintained her CPA license since 1991
